Summer Vacation…

Guess who’s off to the beach tomorrow? Yep, this girl! Can’t wait to smell the salty, sea air and feel the sand beneath my feet. For one whole week I’ll be on beach time and I intend to live life as carefree as possible! I’ll still have to be responsible since I’m taking my daughter and three of her friends so it won’t be ALL about me, but I will have my moments!

My blog may even have an actual theme for a week. Who knows, I may even blog from my beach chair instead of my living room couch. No lengthy posts…maybe I’ll just share a photo I take or review a restaurant where we enjoy a good meal.

I’m always so relaxed when I’m on a beach vacation. It’s almost like the waves come in and take all of your worries and troubles away with them when they roll back out.

I hope y’all have a fabulous week. Please share some of your favorite things to do when you’re at the beach. I can always use some new ideas!

  1. Enjoy your time off! I never thought about blogging from the beach. I am certain that I will try that the next time we go. I absolutely love being on the beach. I like doing my walk/run on the beach listening to sermons in my ear while still hearing and watching God’s roaring waves. It makes me feel so small and our Great God so Big that I can leave everything to him. I can trust him. My favorite beach is in Oceanside California. Looking forward to going back. Thanks for following me!

    1. Thank you! I agree with you. The first time I stood on the beach and saw the ocean for the first time I remember thinking how God created it and how amazing it is….and how small I was standing next to it! Thank you so much for reading and commenting. I look forward to reading your blog!
